I'm not sure what made me pull out the old folder of family postcards circa 1900 today to show my 5year old son. But when I did I came across a photo of my late grandfather Ronald Lea. He was photographed next to a fine looking young man and my grandmother (Verna) had kindly written their names on the back. I love anything with a little history and decided to 'google' the name. Imagine my amazement to find out that R. Martin Mulhall had only passed away a week ago. My grandfather served with him in WW2 and it was taken between 1939>1945. If anyone in the Mulhall family would like a copy of this photo could you please email me at - belindajhudson@hotmail.com.au Or they can find me on FaceBook - http://www.facebook.com/belinda.hudson Thankyou and please pass on my sincere condolences to the Mulhall family.

Martin was gentle person and a gentleman in the true sense of the word. He had a quick wit and great sense of humour. He always showed his love for his wife Kathleen and was a very loving father to his two sons, and his daughter-in.law Eveline. He loved music from the 30's and 40's and always kept a lively interest in current affairs. May God welcome him to the other side with open arms
