from the moment I met Martin he made an immediate impression. He was running the OCA and on our first meeting gave me a warm smile and friendly handshake. I am sure this is the same for anyone who had the pleasure to meet him. He also had the best stories of anyone I knew at Cranbrook or anywhere for that matter. I recall him telling a story about when he was back in the UK at College. He had an old american army jeep, which seemed to be easily able to go over round abouts instead of around them. And I think the local bobby pointed out to him that the war was over! so he could probably take it easy in the jeep. Now that was classic Marty. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, family and many friends at this sad time. Peace be with you Martin. Regards, Steven Powell Cranbrook IT Dept 2002 - 2007
