I have known Odette for about 32 years and introduced her to my brother, Barry. They were well suited, both liking to enjoy themselves but, as Barry's health failed over the years, Odette never left his side. After Barry passed away a few months ago, Odette was ready to put give back to society, esp the marvellous Brotherhood of St Laurence, what had been given to her. She was now prepared to achieve things she couldn't before. Odette loved a party and was often at our place to celebrate anything of significance (or anything of less signficance)! We always enjoyed sitting down to a nice (or not so nice) glass of red, with Elvis's dulcet tones in the background. She was a huge part of our family and she will be forever missed.
