Working with Peter as an actress and learning from him as a student changed my life and transformed both my work as an actress and a director but my philosophy as a person. His infectious smile, unbridled enthusiasm and laser-focus will stay with me always. I picture everyone in heaven gathering each day for an enormous "circle of ha!" now that Peter has joined them! He was (and always will be) "the wizard--who but he set the cool heads aflame?" Although he hated sentiment ("stop making it so domestic, Donna!") I can't resist--"Good night, sweet prince. And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest"

The spirit of our remarkable friend, teacher and mentor, Peter Oyston, will not die. His inspiration has touched the hearts, minds and souls of many and should that influence spread far and wide, then the world will certainly be a better place. Vale Peter, it was a privilege to be your friend.
