I remember very well when Phil O'Donnell was beginning his career with Motherwell and he was one of my favourite players at the time along with Davie Cooper. Phil was a very good player for Motherwell and a genuinely decent person, everyone always seem to speak well of him. My condolencies to his wife family, friends and all football fans who respected Phil O'Donnell. I was at the game where he scored against Rangers at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup, it was a great goal, although Motherwell lost the game, he led the way and almost pulled it off for the well.
