Jean and I were good friends of Anne and Peg O'Donnell for many years and enjoyed their stays with us in the US during several of their visits. We are so sad at the passing of Anne. We just learned of her passing through the Internet, which explains why we had not had answers to our letters and phone messages in recent months. We will miss Anne very much. We have a number of her books and even contributed to one on bugs. She was a very talented writer. We had considered a vacation to Australia to see Anne and Peg since we knew they probably would not travel to the US because of failing health. However, the period we had considered were the last days for Peg, and we did not think this would be a good time to visit Australia to see Peg and Anne. We were saddened when Peg died, and now once again are saddened by Anne's passing. We extend our best wishes top Anne's family and extended family and will always remember her spirit and our good times spent with her in Massachusetts and Maine. May God bless her.
