I knew Barry at UWS.When I left for Ireland,he gave me his etching needle as a token of friendship-still use it to this day.It has his name engraved on it and I remember him with sincere affection.Mike Birtchnell.

Just found this news by chance while looking on line for news of my contemporaries at Chelsea Art School. Belated condolences to all friends and relatives. I remember Barry as a very positive, friendly and energetic person.
