I have always love the Golden Girls the show had spunk as I got older I began to understand it more and more... I really loved the style Bea was given to wear even now I wear that stye...Bea will be very well Missed here at my home but a Smile still comes on when the Golden Girls Come on... I dont know I Must of seen each show ton of times maybe not... I dont know it's fun to watch and see how they fuss at one another and the great realation ship she had with Estell Getty as her Momma on the show ....If anyone has had the oppturnity to have a relationship with their Momma mabye it was a good as they made this make believe on on the show that would be wonderful and Great you gotta appreciate eveyone while they are here before you know it you trun your head and they are gone NEVER TAKE NO ONE OR ANYTHING FOR GRANTED... They now wait Patiently for the rest of the gang to come to Heaven to have the Golden Girls in the Sky....

Truley! The mother is always looking over children and visa-versa. I don't know what I would do without them.

I still to this day record Golden Girls I watch them every night and fall asleep with them..It's very sad when you hear about a loss of someone who is so much apart of our lives..I know in my heart she knows how much she was loved by her fans and the laughter she gave us we have cried with them laughed with them.. Rest in Peace Bea you will live on in our hearts!

My earliest memory was Bea on Archie Bunker.. Her quick wit,and timing was refreshing.Of course then Maude, wow some of the topics were pretty sensitive. ,However she pulled it off. Golden Girls.. oh what great show that was, Funny can't even describe the combined talent of those four ladies.Thanks for the memories..See you on the reruns......

Well another hollywood icon is gone. I'm sad and so is the world, i'm sure. But Bea would not want us to lay down and wollow ,in this her day of celebration. I will remember her each and everytime I turn on the tv, and catch a rerun or two. I hope Estele Getty has turned on the stove to make her 14 hr sauce. and maybe have a cheese cake for them to sit and chat and catch up a it. My glass is raised and my head is bowed. you left like a lady ,and that is the way you will be remembered in my heart.

I have always loved Bea, I went to see her comedy performance about 6 yrs ago at the Kirby Center here in PA. she was such a wonderful person and could always make you laugh, I have watched the Golden Girls for yrs and they still make me laugh to this day, Bea will be missed dearly by many of us. i love the golden girls i have watch it since i was born dorthy and blanch were my faovrts and rose is very funny im a huge fan im sorry for bea and her family for her lost she was very nice person i really didnt know her but it look like she was nice i look up to her

I watched her in maude golden girls and loved her in all and beleive me she made laugh and enjoy life when i was down and out..I watched her on golden girls and still do in fact while im typing this i am watching the show...She truely will be missed but never forgoitten she is in gods house now enjoying the beauty of life... i love her and will miss her...my best to her friends and family threw this time .

Bea Arthur was my favorite actress of all time! When I would have a bad day, I would turn on the "Golden Girls" and instantly feel better! She was an asset to television. I know she is on the "special stage" in heaven. Hope she and Estelle are together again in Heaven. I will continue to watch the show for as long as it airs. Liz Swindle

I felt very sad when I heard Bea Arthur passed away. She and the other three golden girls gave me so many laffs and I watched them faithfully. I always knew what the next line would be in the script. She played a great part as Dorothy and I was sad when the show ended. God bless you Bea wherever you are and know you bought many, many people loads of happiness.

she will always be Maude to me. The groundbreaker.. before a woman was allowed to have that title. She didn't give a crap about making waves. Crass and to the point. You had to love that. Of course the Golden Girls was just icing on the cake. She just was someone you wanted to be around forever. And she will be. God Bless her.

In the 1970's I grew up with All In The Family. As Maude, and as Dorathy, in the Golden Girls, Bea Arthur seem to be almost like my two aunts. Being a younger person, who may not appreciate the Golden Girls, I watched every week with my parents, and the older reletives. Bea Arthur was an American icon. I was shocked of her passing, as with Estelle Getty last year. Now there are together still making people laugh, and are still with us alway. Thank you for being a friend.

Bea is the first celebrity death that made me weep, as if someone I knew personally had passed away. I was shocked by my reaction. Bea made us feel as though we knew her, her comedy was just that real to us. She was the one on Golden Girls that I personally connected to the most. I felt that had Dorothy been a real person, we would have been fast friends. She made me long to sit at that kitchen table in Miami eating cheesecake wih her, Betty, Rue and Estelle. I wish that there was a way to thank her for being part of my life, because she truly was. I will miss her so very much.

Bea arthur showed bus talent on Broadway, in film, and most memorably as Maude. On television she reminded my family of my aunt in her persona.

I can't say enough about you and all the other Golden Girls. My day is a little brighter if I am able to watch one of your episodes...we always joke how we have our own copy of the Golden Girls and it makes us laugh..God Bless you and Estelle and may you both rest in peace!!

I have watched you through out my childhood and up to my age of 30, I'm watching you on the tv as I'm typing this letter. I will forever watch the show Golden Girls for as long as they play the show, I hope they never stop running the show. I loved one of the episodes were you and the other Golden Girls are sing the song Mr. Sandman I loved your part with the deep voice. I can't wait to see you in haven so I can get you to sing that song for me. You will be truely missed, but never forgotten.
