BERNIC MAC I will always remember him for his various roles; but the most prominent one in my memory bank will be that of his role of Uncle Bernie------------the way he handled his nieces and nephew was so true to life and showed us what happens to children that are born to disfunctional parents-========then what one can do with them when you take them under your wing---and give them tough love----------"Uncle Bernie" We thank God for his comedy - his true love as a parent/a devoted hubby and a great entertainer. Yes I must trully say that this man Bernie Mac as I knew him was one of the best comics ever there was. But I must say this he killed the King of Comedy hands down. Soooo funny and his show was not bad at all. You know u will be truly missed. We as African Americans Have been robbed of such greatness.

My memory is when I first seen him in merrilville, Indiana I didn't know who he was until I met a friend of his from my job that said he was the funniest man he had ever heard so I had to go see this funny man and when I seen him I came out with a big smile on my face cause to me he was the funniest man alive and truely he will be missed and out of all the comedians he was the only person I would spend my last dollar to support where ever he went if I could be there that's where I would be

A friend of mine always gets the best seats for shows and when Bernie Mac came to the NJPAC in Newark when it was new, in '98. We had front row seats and it was the best comedy show I have ever seen. No one made me laugh more he rivaled Richard Pryor when it came to funny. I can't imagine he is gone. It is reminiscent of Robin Harris leaving all too soon. We are blessed with the movies he left behind and his legacy of being a first rate comic and a first rate husband and father.

The world lost a legend when went to be with our heavenly father, and ironically i lost my grandmother the same day who was his biggest fan she never missed his show and he kept her laughing so i thank you Mr.Mac for briging happiness to her life and well as the world, keep her laughing in heaven as you did here on earth, you'll know she the most beautiful angel there (with bow legs) My heart goes out to the family, friends and thousands of fans...That smile will live on in our minds and heart..RIP MR. Before he was famous I worked with Bernie Mac for countless weekends at a little hole in the wall nightclub in the late 80s. I can't remember the name - I want to say "Faces". Anyhoo, we did improv skits in between and before his stand up comedy. We had a nice little troupe of 4 or 5 actors. I loved working with because he was so talented. After the set we'd all sit and talk. Bernie was so funny you would choke on your food at the table. I always told him, he'd be famous... look what God did in his life and career. He definitely exceeded all my visions of his success!!!!

My many prayers goes out to Bernies' family. No one will ever know how much I love him, and the way he made me laugh every night while watching the reruns of the Bernie Mac Show on DVR that I have been recording for the last year or so. I did not realize just how funny he really was until I started watching the reruns of his show. I made it a habit of watching the reruns every night before I go to bed, it has become a major habit that I can not break, I play them even while I'm sleeping just in case I'd wake up, and he could still be on. It will take some time before I can watch them again, and laugh the way that I used to, because I miss him so much. I wish that in time I'll be able to watch the reruns and laugh again. I love you Bernie Mac

Losing Bernie, is like losing a member of my own family. I am hurt. He made himself "real" to the people who listened to him. My prayers to the entire Mac family. Looking at his show and tape, it's still hard to believe. I am thankful for his life, and how he brought joy and laughter to so many. We all need more of that in this hateful world. He was truly hilarious and good hearted we have definitely lost someone who was good to this generation but we have gained a magnificently funny angel I am sure He,Red Fox , Richard Pryor,George Carlin and a whole host of others before him are planning his first show in heaven.
