i want to start by saying; Aunt Shirley, i didnt think you were a day past 45!!! <3 u i have lost many people. many friends and a brother, but none have been as easy to handle as losing my gramps. its not that i am not sad. its because for 31 years, i have heard my grandfather talk about the day he would leave this earth and go meet Jesus. it was a day he had prepared himself for his whole life. and every time i find myself getting sad, i have to smile and remember that, more then anything.. this is just gramps moving onto his new home, a place he has been waiting to be for 90 years. And for that, i will rejoice! God, take good care of my gramps! love you BKB!

Grandpa Byron, You and Viv will never know how you impacted a chubby little unlikable kid when I moved to Helena. You and Viv just couldn't stand the idea that my grandparent's lived in Chicago, and we didn't know each other. You said right in front of your whole family that I could be your grandkid. I never doubted it for a second and it meant the world to me. My girls got to meet you in think the 1st of March. They were stricken by your gentle, true love and the way Grandpa Byron woke from his nap. He was cracking jokes and being funny. When Tobie hugged him goodbye, he prayed with her. I love you both so much and your whole family is like a family to me. Tim Countryman

I know that my savior lives, and at the end he will stand on this earth. My flesh may be destroyed, yet from this body I will see God. Yes, I will see him for my self, and I long for moment. JOB 19:25-27

Papa, Wow, I've had 63 years of incredible memories. One of the fondest was when Todd, my son was born you came to my house and was soooo excited you kept taking picture after picture of him. He was your first grandchild but you were the same with all the grandkids! You played games with them, read them imaginary stories...with them believing they were actually the subjects in the story. :0) You gave them all endearing nick names like... Toddy & Silverlips...When Jeff & I & Todd & Chae traveled all over the country you and mother would always take the time to come to see us. Oh how we loved that! Jeff always said you would travel many miles just to share a cup of coffee and some fellowship. You had great wit and always had something funny to say. You were great at rhyming a conversation. But most of all your great faith in God never waivered! You were always ready to pray for us when we were sick and God heard your prayer of faith. I miss you already papa. You've left a big hole in our lives. I am so glad I will see you again...in heaven!!!

Dear Grandpa, I want you to know how much I love you, you will be missed by so many. I was asked what my fondest memory of you was, there are so many. Honestly I didn't even have to think about it though, my favorite memory of you was when Kody and I were little and we would crawl up on your lap and watch some good old westerns. I felt so safe and comfortable in your arms. You were such an amazing man, you of all people earned your spot in heaven. Now that you are in heaven I will still feel safe and comfortable knowing that you are watching over me and my family. I love you grandpa, see you in heaven.
