When I was in elementary school, after dinner she and I would sit in her favorite chair and share a book. She would read a chapter to me, and then I would read a chapter to her. It was the most special time of the day for me. It helped install a love of reading for me, which I am very grateful for, but more importantly it taught me what it felt like to be truly loved.
