David was my daughter Nikki's high school sweetheart and a member of our family. He helped my son Pahl learn the ropes in football. Since we felt he was our son, we took him to GMA and GPA Campeau's beautiful Oregon retreat for vacation. He was sooo ecstatic being in the country and his caring spirit really shone when he was around the animals especially the dogs. He loved dogs! He was always quick to laugh and game for any chores like mowing the pasture with the big tractor or the yards with the little one. I was hoping he would get to come up this summer.
