I dont know if my previous message was lost or saved, but I hoped that time would ease the pain of Raymond, Gerard , and Catherine her only sister. but for her mother Mary or Raymond her dad , frankly I dont have answers to that sense of loss. but I wanted also to thank the Keadykat for making a fine remembrance of Ethna

I had not seen Eithne for a while but as so many have said she was the kind of person who touched your life, even in moments. An amazing listener, she loved people for who they were and always took care to ensure nobody felt left out or sad. Eithne, you never knew how much you helped me at a time when I felt so lost. thank you. A true Angel, you will be sadly missed. Your beauty and kindness lives on in our hearts. le gra go deo. M

I didnt actually know you but I am a big Riverdance fan and have seen the show in my home of New Zealand. The loss of the Air France flight was an absolute tragedy for all concerned. I have looked at your beautiful photos Eithne and read about you. You are an amazing girl. So talented and you have achieved much in your short but action packed life. May God bless your family right now and I hope you rest in peace. Carolyn Quinlan, New Zealand.

I was privileged to have met Eithne and she really was the happiest and most beautiful girl you could ever meet, Jason was on Broadway with her and said "She was the nicest person in the whole show and would do anything for anyone". She was a smart and wonderful girl and its so sad to think of how many people she would have helped not just in medicine but also with her good nature and constant thoughtfulness. Condolences to all of the walls family- our prayers are with you, especially Raymond (we're thinking of you) We'll always remember fondly such a special girl with that beautiful smile. Although I am not sure if our paths crossed during my time with Riverdance as a singer, I send all good, loving thoughts to Eithne's family....it's been a privilege to be involved with such open giving, young souls in the show. Our lives should be measured by what we leave. To dance is a gift to the world....Eithne's gift is timeless....

We were both in Riverdance together and lived in the same building in Astoria Queens, New York. We were having the time of our lives living in the greatest city in the world. She would always tell me about how she was going to study medicine. I would wake up most mornings by banging on her door to go for our 7am run. We never stopped running for the full hour. We used to almost have to stop sometimes from laughing at the characters we would pass along the way. We were so exhausted by the end. It might sound like nothing to some of you but it was a time I will remember. After the broadway show closed a few days before 9/11, the cast and crew all went their seperate ways. We emailed each other only a few times after that but she always told me how she was doing with her studies. She was one of the few really genuine none materialistic girls I had the pleasure of working with. She was a beautiful person inside and out with a good heart. I will always remember our time in New York and the laughs in our apartment with my best buddy Eamon Ellams and Gary Grant, sitting out on the balcony during the summer months with the never ending music and the late night until dawn conversations. Our Loss is heavens gain. goodbye Eithne, I will not forget you. Dazzy x

I remember Eithne from work in Tallaght hospital. I was lucky enough to have had a few small chats with this trully special person. She was enchanting, poised, elegant, vivacious, totally charming, and a consumate professional. Everytime she passed I would find myself willing to be something like this gorgeous person and I only knew her briefly. Thats the depth of her effect. She was a true lady, a beacon of pure lovely warmth. I pray for her and her family. I hope the paralysing numbness they feel now, is in time softened. Your daughter was very great. God Bless, Nicola Coonan.

I meet Eithne in primary school the little girl with curls and glasses, a silly memory I have is of the two of us managing to break a toy clock and trying not to get caught and later I remember our chats on the bus on the way to tech. I also worked with her mum for many years and I saw how proud her family were of her achievements, and the love they had for each other. You and your family are in my prayers Rest in Peace. I did not know Eithne but having been involved in the Irish Dancing circle for many years I felt very saddened when I heard the news. She was obviously a very talented and gifted individual who excelled in every area of her life, someone who I am sure will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Rest In Peace Eithne

Having taught dancing for many years I had the great pleasure of watching Eithne dancing at local feiseanna many times. I really enjoyed the chats I had with Eithne's mum, Mary, since I just lived across the road from grandparents, John and Mrs McGourty. My thoughts and prayers are with you Mary and all your family.

Eithne, you changed my life! You didn't judge what you saw. You watched what was happening and understood. You told me how to overcome the bullies, not just in school but in the dancing community as well. You made me a better person. And i thank you for that. P.S. There is no icon on here to descride what she did for me!

Some of my memories of Eithne are of when she would come into the kitchen while her mother, Mary, and I were having a cup of coffee after work. Eithne would bounce up onto the kitchen worktop and share snippets of her day with Mary. She always spoke with such brightness, excitement and enthusiasm in her voice - and ALWAYS smiling - no matter how late at night it was! Eithne, her family and close friends- you are in my Prayers. Love to you always. Elaine McMenamin-Bradley.

I was privileged to have played a few tunes on my fiddle for Eithne to dance at Mary's mother's birthday. She was such a warm, loving person. I only met her once but she made me feel like she knew me all my life. I will never forget her. That was Eithne's touch. Paddy McMenamin.

My son Chris went to school in Darragh Cross with Eithne she had that smile then that we all loved. I feel so sorry for her whole Family circle. Her mum Mary was my Boss for Years and a treat to work for .it is such a shame to lose such a lovely girl. She was dearly loved by all such a talented and gifted person in all she done.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Walls family and Eithne's friends at this very sad time. No words can express how you must feel on the loss of a beautiful daughter, sister and friend. Eithne was a true star and a ray of sunshine who had the whole world in her hands. I first met Eithne and family at the Irish Dancing feises and had the pleasure to meet her again in Riverdance. When I think of Eithne, I see her dazzling smile. I know she is shining down on us all in heaven. I always remember Eithne's signature, it was the sweetest thing ever. Will miss her smile. Eithne was born two years after I started working at her dad’s family business, Micwall Developments Ltd. Through the years I watched her blossom into the star and beautiful girl she was! As a student she worked in the office where we all enjoyed her warm, bubbly and affectionate personality. Eithne’s mum Mary taught my two boys at St Caolan’s PS, Darragh Cross where she worked tirelessly as school principal My sister Caroline and I were lucky to see Eithne perform at the Gaiety Theatre, Dublin where she danced magnificently. On behalf of myself and the extended Cummings family circle, I would like to express our sincere sympathy to Raymond, Mary, Catherine, Raymond and Gerard. Geraldine O Callaghan

Eithne, It was a joy to have met you. Your presence touched the life of many. You were such a credit to your family as they were to you. I always remember the days when we danced for the Armstrong scool of Dancing and how dedicated you were to both your music and your dancing as you used to get up at six in the morning to practise your music so that you could head straight to dancing class after school. Your dedication paid off. You were an amazing and beutiful young woman who's life was brought to such a shocking and tragic end. My thoughts will stay with you and your family forever. Slan Eithne

How to you start to put into words who Eithne was and what she meant to you - I feel the Walls family did an amazing job of doing just that with their statement - I'm so sorry for your loss, I can't imagine how tough this is for you all. As for me, I met Eithne when I worked on Broadway for a few months in 2001. I shared many lovely times with her there and many fantastic nights out since. She was the most genuine person I've met and was a true lady - I feel blessed to be able to have called her my friend. I will cherish all my photos of us forever, they will help bring back to life just how wonderful it was to be around her and more importantly remind me of her amazing smile. I hope you are at peace - I'll miss you forever Eithne.

I had just been diagnosed with cancer when I had the great pleasure of meeting Eithne in 2001. My cousin was in Riverdance with her and they generously allowed me to tag along with them all summer. I was lucky enough to get to have a few conversations with her about my diagnosis, and she was a warm and tremendous comfort. I only spent a matter of hours with her, but remember clearly every minute, I can only imagine how heartbroken those who knew her well must be... She was incredibly bright, kind and lit up the place in a way that stays with you forever. A tremendous loss. My heart and prayers go out to her friends, family and colleagues.

I never did have have the pleasure of meeting Eithne as a dancer in Riverdance but remember her so well from growing up at feiseanna as Ray's sister. What a beautiful woman you did grow into Eithne and how far your appeal did stretch. The tributes to you are so heartfelt. I wish I had known you and in a way I feel I did through Ray. He spoke of you often when we were away on tour and was so fond of his little sister. You, in your life touched so many people and your passing has clearly affected many more. For your family, I cannot imagine how they are dealing with your loss. I only can offer my deepest sympathy. To all you riverdancers who knew Eithne so well, I can't imagine how you are feeling. I know those bonds made on tour are incredibly strong. Ray and all the Walls family, my deepest sympathy goes out to you for your loss. God bless all of you.

Waterford Regional Hospital, Thurs June 11th @ 4pm, Church A wonderful caring doctor with a winning smile and an infectious giggle. Eithne, you were always in good form even after 24 hours with very little sleep. Despite my efforts to persuade you to stay in hospital Medicine, you were intent on Ophthalmology as a career and all the interview practice paid off. Full of common sense, full of chat and exuding happy rays always. You are sadly missed by all who knew you at WRH.

To meet her was to know her and to always remember her. She was so bright in so many ways - Her smile was her trademark and her personality absolutely infectious. Such a huge loss - the world has lost someone who was undoubtedly going to be a brilliant doctor and who had already proved herself as an excellent dancer, but most importantly the Walls family have lost a daughter and a sister and my thoughts and prayers are with them at this terrible time.
