Eithne was the first person I met when I moved into Trinity Halls in first year Uni, and she greeted me with her gorgeous big smile and a hug. I have treasured having her as a friend ever since. So many happy memories - from working in her Uncle's art gallery for a few days together and getting so overexcited when we actually managed to sell a painting, to the night Ireland won the Six Nations and we partied the night away. My heartfelt sympathies to the Walls family and to her boyfriend, Hugh. Beautiful Eithne, I will miss you every day xxx

I had the pleasure of calling Eithne my friend through many walks of life; dancing at competitions as kids and adults, performing in Riverdance together and attending Trinity College in Dublin at the same time. You are dearly missed and loved by all of us here in Riverdance in Toronto at the moment. You and your family will always be in our hearts and prayers. Your gleaming smile will be our everlasting memory. RIP Eithne

I danced with Eithne in the McCaul School of dancing for over 6 years. She always had that beautiful smile on her face. I will treasure the fun time we had in Paris all those years ago & will look back on those photos with happy memories of us all. Words cannot describe the loss & shock that this has hit me with & if I feel like this then I can't begin to imagine how her family are feeling. My thoughts & prayers are with them. A beautiful woman now a beautiful angel.

I remember dear Eithne when she danced at the Gillan School of Dance with her brother Raymond. Aside from her dancing talent, she was such a courteous and determined young women. Eithne was destined to be sucessful and what a beautiful, smart lady she turned out to be! My heartfelt sympathies go out to you Mr and Mrs Walls and Eithne's sister and brothers, and close family. I can never imagine the pain you feel. My thoughts and prayers are with each one of you. God bless you dear Eithne. Louise Mullan.

Eithne was a truly special person in my life -I loved her dearly and thoroughly enjoyed her bright smile, her bubbly personality and I just loved her bags and shoes-She didn"t care if the Gucci bags were a knockoff!though I suspect that mostly they were not.She danced at my wedding and she danced here in Palo Alto for my friends and family.Anyone who met her just loved her.I will dearly miss her always Auntie Ethna

To Ethna, and all the Mc Gourty and Walls extended families no words can be spoken, you are all in our thoughts and prayers as those of us that did not know her personally discover what a wonderful and beautiful daughter, sister, grand daughter, niece, cousin and friend you all had. We are all heartbroken for you. Catherine and all the Magee family.

Eithne was my second cousin. We always referred to her as "the one who danced in Riverdance" She made us all so proud. We loved having Eithne here when she last visited. She was kind enough to get us tickets to take Devin & Chandler to see her dance. The kids were so excited to met her and to watch her perform. She touch our hearts so profoundly in such as short period of time, I can't imagine how much she has for those who had the pleasure of her compnay on a regular basis. I can still see her leave down the stairs to say goodbye and I remeber telling her that she was so pretty! We will never forget her.

I first met Eithne when she was a young dancer with the McCaul sisters in Derry. She was just a gem of a girl. Win or lose that smile was always the same. As she matured she never lost her warm nature. Eithne has left a void in our lives that never will be filled. In her short life she has touched so many people and you can be sure at times she never knew it. God must have needed a special Angel when he called her so young. She will live on with the people who miss her dearly. There was only one Eithne Walls and she was beautiful, kind, understanding, intelligent, funny and a person that only comes around once in a lifetime. God rest your precious soul and give everyone who knew you the strength to come to terms with your tragic death.

Eithne was such a lovely person- inside and out. I originally met her on a flying squad gig, and when I later joined the Broadway troupe, she was so welcoming and friendly. I remember comparing notes with her about how it felt being new and training into the show. She told me a funny story regarding a "language barrier" that she had encountered when she was new. She was being told to bow after a number- but didn't understand what was being asked of her because in her northern accent she pronounced it "boi". The person next to her was shouting "Bow! Bow now!" She finally realized what they meant and asked "Oh! Boi? Boi Noi?" The phrase became a personal joke that we would say to each other if we happened to be dancing next to one another. Thinking of Eithne will always make me smile.

I remember Eithne back when she danced for Sharon McCaul, and unfortunately did not get to spend a lot of time with her when she arrived for Broadway. I do remember however , that she always had a smile on her face and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. She was also a very modest girl, and never took her achievements for granted, and yet she was able to achieve so many. Thoughts and Prayers are not only with the Walls family, but also to everyone that knew Eithne.

I'm still in total shock. Eithne was such a good person. I still remember clearly the first time I met her at the Gershwin Theatre in New York. We walked down together to a street fair on 7th ave after the show. She was so easy to talk to. I had not seen Eithne in a couple of years and she surprised me and came to see my band play a gig just before she went to Brazil. My heart goes out to all her Family and friends!

I remember telling her how proud of her we were heading off to be a doctor at the end of Broadway. Not many people get to accomplish so much in a life , let alone a life that was so horribly cut short. A brilliant shining star *

Eithne will always be remembered for her golden smile, kind nature and fun loving personality. She was always a ray of light and a breath of fresh air in the show and to think of her as not here anymore is depressing and very difficult. anyone who knew her, will be much better off for it. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. God Bless.

I'm communicate of Portugal. My sincere sympathies to all the families, friends and excessively, of the 32 countries, reached for the tragedy. That God keeps the Eithne and protects all the ones that for are here. That God gives the force to you whom they need for this so black stage. After all a son is not only one biological extension, is a piece of us. It rests in peace Eithne and that in the sky a star always shines.
