I presume that Eugene William (Fred) Lauret is a son of Franck Lauret (Roy) and little son of Eugene Leray-Lauret born in 1850 in France Plurien (who then lived in Granville Sydney). And I am the great grand son of Amand Leray (France Plurien) Brother Eugene. I am doing this research for my father Rene Chenu 86 years. I've known Eugene (Fred) for the last 20 years since moving into the house opposite. Fred was always a great neighbour who genuinely contributed to his local community. Fred fixed the lawn mower, or offered me the use of his drill. He even found and brought back my 3 year old daughter who was wandering up the street after getting out the front door. He put out the garbage bins for you if you were away and never asked for anything in return. Fred will be missed in the street and I wish Diane & the family well in the future.
