My sister Cate got to know our cousin Evette over 20 years ago, and we were lucky to have enjoyed her friendship over all the time since. Cate reminds me of a night when we got horribly delayed on a drive back south from Queensland, and Evette, who had been expecting us around 7, stayed up until 3 am to greet us & cook us dinner.
