Hi Oprah,
I am sorry about Sophie and Gracie. I am sure without a doubt they are at Rainbow
Bridge looking down about....and having fun with all their new found friends, and one
of them is my precious Lady who passed on last November.
With deepest synpathy to you and your family. Love, Carol Anne

rest well gracie!

Two years ago, my Aunt's beloved bichon Snoopy passed away and it was really hard for me to realize that she was no longer with us. Whenever my Aunt would come visit us from Seattle, she always brought all her puppies along, and it took me a while to get used to not seeing Snoopy run through our hall and jump onto my lap. It's always hard to lose a loved one, and I can tell that Gracie was a vibrant and wonderful companion. I wish Oprah all the best.

I remember reading the edition of O! Magazine with the picture of little Gracie on the cover. What a lovely little dog Gracie was. After Gracie had passed away, I read Oprah's closing page about how much Gracie meant to her and agree entirely with her thoughts. Gracie was a reminder for Oprah, and ultimately, all of us, to stop and live life instead of just going along day to day. Thank goodness Gracie reminded all of us of such an important message. I know Oprah must miss her puppy dearly, but she has our support in this difficult time.

We had a retriever too who died - we really hope the grief subsides...
