13.06.07. A day i will never forget,that dreadfull phone call from robert,i dropped the phone and started screaming,i ran to michael and collapsed into his arms with him crying telling me it cant be true. BUT IT WAS TRUE. Within half an hour we were there at mums house and you were lying lifeless on the cold ground. That is when it really hit home that you were gone. I never got to say goodbye i never got to tell you that i loved you or that i was sorry for everything i had ever done. Hours went by and there was so much that i wanted to do but nothing could be done. Mum was inconsolable,i had never seen her in such a state. i was scared,scared for you,for mum for the kids and scared for myself. Even though we dont know an exact time you passed away it was the day of the 2nd STATE OF ORIGIN -sadly you missed it but manly did make it into the finals and i know that you would of been so excited about that. DAD i dont understand this whole death thing and i dont think that i want too. I wish that you would of stayed longer to watch the girls grow up. we all miss you so much and i am sorry that i couldnt of been there more for you. if i could have one wish it would be to see you for one last time.
