i am truly shocked by this news. I have been following his career since his performance in black rock and i just cant believe this terrible tradegy. My thoughts go out to his family and especially to his daughter matilda. I to had a father that passed away when i was a toddler and my heart truely goes out to her for what she now has to grow up without. Nothing can compare. xxx

I remembered loving him in "10 Things I Hate About You", mostly for his good looks, but watching him on the big screen as Ennis in absolute awe. I just found out about his death and i am deeply saddened by this loss. The first time i became dazzled by this actor was in 10 Things I Hate About You, where he played an amazing role. And since has made incredible acting debues in many films in which i loved such as Casanova and A Knights Tale, as well as the upcoming film The Dark Knight which i cant wait to see. I know he will have played an amazing role in it. Heath was such a talented actor, and had more to bring to us. No One should have their life cut so short. Heath is a talent that i will never forget, he has brought such great films to life. I give my love to his family.....he will always be remembered.

I am so saddend by his death. I don't think I have ever been this broken up over the death of an actor before. I loved Heath as an actor. He was so talented and from the first time I saw him in 'Ten things I hate about you' I have enjoyed watching him in all of his films. He was too young and I feel heartbroken for his family and most of all his young daughter. It really is tragady.

Just when you think everything in life can be going the way you want it to and then wake up one day to some absolute terrible news just like i did today, it hits reality of what is good in your life and how much you should hold dear . I can't believe waking up to the news of hearing that Heath Ledger has passed away at the tender age of 28 years old. Its just so hard to believe as Heath was born on the same day and same year as me and i completely admired this young actor, someone I looked up to and will continue to do so. I really believe this young man was gonna be the next big thing in Hollywood film and am just deeply upset that I will no longer see him on the big screen. His role in the beautiful movie Brokeback Mountain was an oscar winning performance and to this day he should have won the oscar as best actor. Heath you will be deeply missed and my sincere sympathy's goes to Heath's family, Michelle Williams and their young daughter Matilda. By Mark Loverush
