Dr Herbert Victor Gibson was my physician for many years, and he was always the pressional, yet he was also a good communicator who listened and yes, he was empathic, something we all strive for, but few seldom achieve it. I am saddened by his dying. He was a gentleman, a fine human being and I wish Herbert's family and people significant to him a life of happy memories of a person sorely missed.

As my doctor and my longtime friend, Herb will always stand out in my memory,,,.He gave unstinted support to my wife Pam throughout her long battle with breast cancer, and he was with us both in our home on the night she died. Herb's family have every reason to be proud of his achievements as a doctor and his stature as a human being.
