Shortbus/Daryl always has been a big inspiration for me. The way he loved life and how he did everything he did with grace and power, i can only try to get close to that. Shortbus, we'll miss you. You're a legend.

he swam hard down lifes rocky road............but he had a dream and a rage to live....he was told time and time again he was always going to lose and never going to win, but he kept his dreams alive. he swam bold, that was his dream , his code. When he was a guppy, people used to tell Shortbus to slow down, dont swim so hard, but he looked them in the eye and said he would swim and hard as he could. When he met his maker on his dieing day, he will look him in the eye and say, I gave my word, and my word was good, I swam hard as I could. Shortbus always told me life was a race and he was in it to win. Long live his memory

You had such an amazing life. I never knew. Enjoy the big fishbowl in the sky.
