I'm sorry to hear that Ian has passed away. His family lived across the creek at Brooklet and Ian and his were part of the Brooklet community.
I met Ian in 1967 when he came to work at Esso Australia shortly after I had arrived from the US. He was a great friend while we were in Sydney and I enjoyed his visits to Houston later. He was a good bloke and there aren't enough like him.
My deepest sympathy to the Criss family. I will remember Ian fondly as a caring, fun-loving, and visionary colleague and friend. John Gallo
Ian has always been an icon of irrepressible spirit. I'll remember him with affection and admiration always. Nigel Birkett.
