Jeff's music touched so many hearts, his strength was admired by many. He was truly a symbol to all who are living with life's challenges and working hard to overcome them. 'Angel Eyes' was dedicated to me one night by a wonderful man over an internet radio streamer. In July it will be played at our wedding reception. The music and the man will forever remain in our hearts and minds.

I was one of many students who took my turn watching you through the band room door at Etobicoke C.I. You were the blind kid who parted the crowded hallways, rocked our world with your guitar and jazzed us with your trumpet. From the stage at Ten Gallon Fat to venues around the world, Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Swing, you did it all. Your music will live on in our hearts.

My friend, I know in my heart that you now have the ability to see all that you were deprived of in life. I just know that you are up there jamming with Jimi, Stevie Ray as well as the countless other great ones that have moved on to that Mansion in the sky. Wow, save me a seat Jeff!! We will miss you here though.... With much love

I first heard this song in 2006. I was so surprised to learn it was recorded in 1988, when Jeff was a mere "kid" of 22! The beauty of his voice is exceptional, the range of his talents amazing; and who would not fall in love with that angelic face?

I always have had a great afinity for the blues - which is abnormal for a Canadian my age. Blues guitarists are some of the greatest musicians in the world, and Jeff was one of the very best. I was in awe of his fast-paced, forcefull style of blues. His music was motivating, rather than depressing, as most people find blues to be. Never got to see him in concert, and I'm totally kicking myself for it...and I'm sure I will be for years to come.Never was a musician like my dad, but - to all the young people who are aspiring musicians out there....if your going to copy someone's style of guitar playing......you could do alot worse than play like this man....So long Jeff...even though your gone, I know your music will last forever!!!!

I met Jeff in New York almost 20 years ago. I recognized him on the street up by Columbus Circle. I introduced myself and expected a fast blow-off. To my surprise Jeff actually stopped and we had about a 15 minute conversation, it seemed on everything but his amazing guitar playing. Nice guy.Do any of us ever really stop and talk to strangers anymore. I have Always loved his music and style-Peace and Love to his family

I was so fortunate to see Jeff Healey last year in our small local theater. He was here with the Jazz Wizards. They were amazing! I am so sad that my children will never get the chance to see him live. My condolances go out to his wife and children. He was a genuine Canadian star!

saw him in concer when See the Light came out...i did not know he was blind at the time...he blew me away....he sat in a chairt the entire show..till he did see the light...with that one song he stood up and just totally brought down the house....such a gifted guitar player..he will be sorry missed by a lot of us. a lot of people don't remeber that his band was the house band in the patick swazye movie Road House....now there is another gifted person sturggling with cancer...he needs our prayers also...but my heart goes out to the family, friends and fellow fans of Jeff Healy.

I bought the fantastic see the light cd when it was first released. I was lucky to see and hear jeff when he played at the UEA Norwich UK on 11th October 2000. I will never forget that brilliant concert. I bought the it's tight like that cd whilst on holiday in New York and among friends in Barcelona. All his albums are on my ipod and I have pre-ordered the new blues cd! What a tragic loss but what wonderful guitar and trumpet recordings have been left behind for future generations to discover. I have never felt the desire to write a tribute before but felt the need to leave some thoughts here. Best wishes to his family, friends and band. Tony
