It is 2013 and I was prompted to google Joe and learned of his passing. I offer my condolences to all of you who have mourned his loss all this time. I knew Joe for a year before moving back to Salt Lake City. He was a generous, thoughtful person and was well liked by just about everyone who knew him. Love to see Joe but sad his life ended so soon. Will never forget my brief friendship with Tom, Joe, and Nancy back in Merced! I always felt he was a kind person with a beautiful gift!

Wow, I knew Joe since I was a teenager, and he was one of my first roommates. Every now and then something will remind me of him. So I just followed an impulse to Google him and found this page. Thank you so much for this, I'm really glad to see him still being honored.
