I'm shocked to hear of John's passing. I saw him for a coffee at his place just a few days before December 9 and he was showing me his paintings and telling me about his plans to go to Bali with Bruce in 2011. I drove to his place house a few times earlier this year to find it empty and figred he was enjoying his holiday, so I was very shocked when his ex Simon told me late last week what had happened. John didnt have facebook or msn so it was impossible to contact him unless I visited. I first met John in November 2002 and he was always somebody who I could go to and talk about things and not be judged, he was a good friend, so for me its a loss for sure. Hope you're all coping with it okay :-) PS - I remember going with him to his gigs at the Espi in 2003 and they were great times :-) John

So sorry to hear of John's passing - what a a short life but a very full one. I still listen to my "Bleeding Heart" tape - yes tape! Great music, great guy - you will be missed! Sal Morrison
