I was confident the world was a better place for having stepped into John's surgery and over more that seven years he alway saw me away positively and concisely, I'm blessed by his deep waters. I was totally rocked by this news today. Dr John Guyot was a great man, and my family and I owe him so much for all of his help over the years. He really improved our quality of life, and the loss has hit us all very hard. I too, extend my sympathies to his family and friends, and I do regret that I found out about this nearly a week after the fact. There will be few people I will miss as much as he.

As a patient of his I'm deeply saddened by a personal loss now and in the future, he is irreplacable in my life and will always be remembered by me. A medical adviser of the highest order. Joan McMahon
