The first 45 vinyl record I ever purchased was Deep Prurple's "Might Just Take Your Life". It opens with that organ voice that was such an integral part of that band's legendary sound. Keith Emerson & Rick Wakeman are great talents in their own right but in my opinion, Jon Lord was the greatest Rock keyboardist of all time. Words will never come close to describing what he meant to so many people. I envy his friends and family that they were able to be close to such a wise, extremely talented and humble man. There would be no Deep Purple without Jon. Jon was Deep Purple & always will be. We have all been blessed with the music you have given to us without ever knowing what an impact you would have on us. Your music will live on in our hearts & without a doubt people will be saying Jon was the greatest keyboard player ever! There will never be another one like him...ever! God Bless your family.
