I am Jon's first cousin once removed (My father was his cousin). I am delighted to hear about a family member having such an interesting life. But, It's pretty sad to know that I will never get to meet him. I only recently was told of his existence. Anyway, I'm happy to hear that he seemed to have spent most of his life pursuing his loves. I wish that his writing talents were a familiar trait.

I feel so fortunate that I met Jon when he and my son Jason became partners several years ago. I got to know a funny, kind ,articulate, quirky, intelligent man, the like of which I will probably not meet again. He was an acute observer of his fellow human beings, and kept us entertained with his stories, he was truly loved and missed xx
