Jon was very thoughtful. His family is really caring and I will think of Jon and his family often. The Baulko friends were very lucky to have had him in their group. I always saw Jon on some friend's lounge or in the passenger seat of his friend's car. He was easy to entertain and lifted the bar of conversations.

I didn't really know Jon during my high school years, although we were in the same grade. I think I spoke to him a few times, and my impressions of him were his quiet, reserved and gentle character. After attending his service yesterday, and listening to the words spoken about him, by his family and friends, I feel I got to know him more in a few hours than I did in 6 years of high school. His kind spirit and generosity, together with his values of friendship and family is something that I will take on board in my life. Rest in Peace Dear Jon.

Jon was a tender and loving person who was always 'just there' for his friends and family. It is impossible to accept that he will not be 'just there' showing his support and quiet humour. We will miss him.
