Thank you Mum for the world so great
Thank you Mum for the food we ate
Thank you Mum for what you did sing

Fond and loving memories of the years spent with Aunty Joyce and her family in Kolkata, India. Her Saturday visits to the hairdressers, then to a movie with all the family and then to a fine restaurant for dinner, and sometimes even dancing at the restaurant after dinner, and she was always well groomed with new clothes (loved the raw silk outfits she had tailored).Sundays sitting together for meals (after Mass of course) our favourite Sunday lunch being yellow rice and ball curry. Aunty Joyce, the doyen of her family - a friend who I will ever cherish for she taught me much in her own quiet way. In Australia we still remained friends and got even closer over the last 7 years. I will miss my dear Aunty Joyce - who is now in peace - a lady of substance, for I will ever love you.

You've finally closed your eyes, Crocodile. We pray you are at peace in God's loving arms and reunited with your mummy and daddy, Verner, Cary and all your old friends. Enjoy this time of rest. You deserve it. Lots of love always, your Jan-A-Poo and Ronnie Boy.

Mum will always remind us of your story telling and chuckles, your fantastic cooking and compassion and time for everyone. Love from Xavier, Tabby and Izzy (and of course Mum and Dad)

Always such a thoughtful and loving person, so strong in every way. Joyce will always be in our thoughts and prayers. (her laughter and great sense of humour will live on)
