I was fortunate to meet Bill in 1981 when working at one of my first jobs at Long Industries. Bill was always a pleasure to work with,a genuine gentleman,a devout man of god and family man. Above all of this Bill had a wonderful sense of humour and I can still remember his infectious smile. If there were more people like Bill around today life would be so much better. I was so sad to hear the news this morning about Bill's passing. I'm glad to have had the pleasure to have known Bill and his family for probably 40 years ... and his energy for life, love for God, honesty and integrity were second to none. I enjoyed his passion for cricket and the St. George Dragons ... there's always next year Bill! :) Bill spent a lot of time working with my father Eddie, and I know that they were the best of friends.
