My brother John and I remember a beautiful person who we were lucky enough to call our Mum. What a wonderful women she was. She had a terrific sense of humour and laughed at just about anything. No ordinary laugh though, it was the kind of laugh that was contagious, one of those big belly laughs that makes everyone smile. All our friends loved her and she gave so much of herself to everyone. Despite a life time of extreme illness she always found time to help others who were sick, depressed, disabled, or just in need of a friend. She was a fantastic person and an inspiration to everyone who knew her. If we could see her now we would say thank you Mum for teaching us kindness, empathy, compassion, humility, patience and understanding. Thank you for showing us that any adversity can be overcome with a good attitude, perserverence, and a good sense of humour. Thank you for standing by us, and thank you for always believing in us. We miss you Mum. Love always Karen and John xxxxx
