Max was an SE working with me on CBA and then EFTPOS in the early and mid-80s. I saw him as a mentor and friend. It was one of the reasons I liked IBM- people like Max worked there.
Such a wonderful person. Rest in God's arms, Max.

13 years agoMy name is Tony Lamond . I am Max's cousin.We knew each other when I was a young boy. My dad Wilfred , and my mum Esme, used to go over to Hampden Avenue at Ashfield about once per month. After I left school we went to live in the UK for some three years and we just lost track of each other as is so often the case. I contacted Max some few years ago in the context of developing the family tree , then we had a lunch together and I talked to him by phone on family history matters. My sympathies to Marianne and all the family.
