I THOUGHT I COULD DO THIS WITH NO PROBLEM, BUT MY TEARS WON'T STOP LONG ENOUGH FOR ME TO TYPE,WHAT WORDS DO U USE TO TELL SOMEONE HOW MUCH YOU LOVED JUSTIN.THE MEMORIES ARE RUSHING IN AND NOW I WISH THAT I WOULD HAVE TOOK MORE TIME TO REALIZE HOW SHORT LIFE CAN BE.I MET JUSTIN AND JESSIACA YEARS AGO WHEN THEIR DAD AND MY COUSIN MET...JUSTIN WAS JUST ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT ONCE HE KNEW YOU HE LOVED YOU, AND FROM THE VERY FIRST DAY HE BECAME LIKE MY LIL BROTHER I NEVER HAD.THERE ARE SO MANY MEMORIES THAT I HAVE OF JUSTIN. HE ALWAYS STOPPED BY MY HOUSE IF IT WAS TO USE THE PHONE, USE THE BATHROOM , TO ASK ME TO BABYSIT, OR WHEN HIS HEART WAS HURTING FROM SOMEBODY HURTING HIM.I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT WAS BUT I ALWAYS FELT THE NEED TO DEFEND AND PROTECT HIM.I WOULD HAVE BEAT ANYBODYS BUTT FOR HURTING HIM IN ANY WAY, AND STILL WILL TO THIS DAY. JUSTIN LOVED WITH ALL HIS HEART AND ALL HE WANTED WAS LOVE IN RETURN,I CAN REMEBER HE ALWAYS SAYING, "JINNY WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?" NOW THAT I HAVE TIME TO TSIT AND THINK ABOUT THAT QUESTION.......MY ANSWER IS ...YOU DID NOTHING JUSTIN, YOU DID NOTHING TO DESERVE THE WAY PEOPLE TREATED YOU.YOU LOVED WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND SOUL AND I JUST WISH THAT I HAD THE HEART THAT YOU HAD JUSTIN BECAUSE I WAS SO PURE AND SO LOVING..I AM GONNA DEFEND YOU TILL THE END MY LIL BROTHER AND GOD ONLY KNOWS HOW MUCH I MISS YOU AND WOULD GIVE ANYTHING TO TELL YOU ,"I LOVE YOU" ONE LAST TIME. I MISS YOU JUSTIN!

oh lord! lets see from the start! well i guess i met justin when he was 11 or 12 when my best friend and his dad got together and we took all the kids out to eat and all the other kids ordered mexican and at the age of 12 this boy orders a ribeye steak med. well and a baked potatoe with butter and sour cream! I knew than He was a special one! but over the years things came and went with a few bumps and bruises, madness, sadness, happiness, and some of the funniest times and sometimes you just had to be there! but, I guess we made it! i really think the one thing that will always stand out about justin was how well mannard he was, at no time can i ever remember him being rude are disrespectable to me are anyone else! ( my spelling ant to good) another thing about justin was no matter if it had been that morning are a year since he had seen you he always had a hug and i love you waiting on you. Thats why im titling this If i would of only known! Earlier the day that Justin died, him and Joey came by Dubbie and Tony's and i was there and when he came in the first thing he said was Nette where's my hug and the last thing he said before they left ,with Dubbie and I standing in the kitchen, pretty sure we were" fussing at them about something" all i can remember was before he walked out the door was hearing i love you Dubbie, I love You Nette and i even think i went out behind him " but i can't remember if i told him that i loved him too". But, i did love him too! If i would of known that, it was going to be the last time i would not of let them leave! But, you just never know! I hope that i spelled everything ok and anyway Justin knows what all this means! I really do have a lot of memories about Justin and some i wish that you had the time for me to tell! but i also have some that are just between Justin and I, " the christmas lights" and the" Dog on the back porch" those will just be our memories" I LOVE YOU! and i'll see you again! and kiss all of our love ones and friends that are up there with you and save me a place! You know with someone like Justin where do you start with your memory of him because he was always there in everyones memory...Justin was definitely ONE OF A KIND AND i mean that in the BEST of ways.... It never failed every time we would go out to eat we would always run into Justin and he would always come and sit at our table with us and just be part of the gang . I remember the first time Billy met him he said " does that kid ever shut up " and my remark to him was " he wouldnt be Justin if he was quiet". My hands are shaking and my eyes are filled with tears as i sit here and think about all the memories of him but I can say that the very last time we saw Justin was about 3 weeks or so before his accident and he hugged my neck and said I'm happier now than i have been in a while and i am doing good , i think i may be growing up a little" . We said our goodbyes and he walked off , and as Cindy said in her tribute to him he threw his hand up and did that backwards wave that he always did and drove off........ not knowing that was the last time we would see that wave or hear that laughter or see his smile .....You all have precious memories of him so take those and keep them close every day and remember that Justin will never be gone because a part of him will live on in every person or life he touched....Justin will never be forgotten........

Justin was, let's say, my step-nephew. Although we weren't that close, meaning as he got older I may have seen him once every 3 or 4 months. My very last memory of him was in May before he past. I was sitting in my vehicle at Sport-A-Pac meeting a friend there in the parking lot to pick up my son. He pulled up to go in and get him a beer. But he came back outside and stood there and talked to me for about 15 minutes. Just about life's lessons (and how some people hadn't learned them yet!) and he was talking about how he really liked his job, and a girlfriend that I think he had recently broke up with. But he stood there in that hot sun just to keep me company. It was a pleasant conversation. I saw him more in his tween years and that's the really lasting memories that stand out for me. I can remember him coming over, especially when we all got together on holidays, and just walking in the house and acting like he owned it. Like he lived there all his life! LOL He would go to the kitchen and just go through every cabinet I had looking for snacks I guess! He never shut up. :) He was always talking about something or another. He would stay just long enough to aggravate the mess out of ya and then say 'bye yall' and wave that backwards wave over his head. I can remember him driving up and saying to myself 'oh lord, it's Justin'! Sometimes we all take things in life for granted.... just the small things.... and miss the hell out of 'em when they're gone. Don't sweat the small stuff people. Life is too short. And for some, even shorter. Rest in peace Justin.... All things in life happens for a reason... Cindy

Like every one says Justin was definitely one of a kind... I have many memories of him... I remember when mom wouldn't let me go anywhere with boys but she would let me go places with him because it was "just Justin" ... he was like a big brother to me for a few years... i remember being on the grappes bluff road spinning tires on the bridge... just laughing... and who could forget his senior prom... we were at louisiana downs and i couldn't find him and then someone came in and told me that he was outside and i had to leave because he had gotten kicked out... i was soo mad... then when i got to the truck i was even more mad cause he had drank all the booze... so i ended up driving his dad's truck cause he couldn't.... those are good memories... i didn't see justin for years because i guess we grew up and had our own lives... but we sure did have some great memories... i will never forget him...

Goodness, I'm already in tears! Dubbie, you did a good job of describing him!!! I MISS HIM SOOOO MUCH!!! I can't believe he has been gone a year. I have soooo many memories of Justin. He was one of my dearest most beloved friends! I can't remember when I first met him, I'm assuming it was at Moochie & Nita's he had to be young.......because Jessica was a little toot. Heath and I weren't even dating yet.......Justin was Heath's cousin.......Heath is now my ex-husband, but even though Heath and I divorced, Justin didn't care! He still loved me!!!! He was a HUGE crutch to me especially when I was going thru my divorce! He would call me nearly every night and listen to me cry or scream....He was ALWAYS there for me! We became VERY close during that time. Justin would come and go, but I always new, without a doubt, that if I needed him, he would be there and he knew the same about me. We had some FUN times and we also went thru some times when we cried on each other's shoulder.....I work for an attorney and if Justin was in town, he would stop in....He would come barrelling thru the door and say something LOUD & FUNNY everytime!!!!!Sometimes it would make me MAD because he was loud and abnoxious and we would have clients in the office, but I would give ANYTHING to hear him and see him again! (I will one day!) AND he always needed to use the bathroom while he was here......LOL!! Justin was one of a kind! He was geniune! He loved as much as a heart could love---to the fullest degree! He had a smile that could light up the darkest person! He was just an amazing person, that's why he is SO missed! RIP Justin Scott! I love you and miss you !!!! You will NEVER be forgotten! well it starts the very day he was born, he looked just like a little man. He was a suprise baby I mean you couldnt even tell his mother was pregant. She was dancing at Sportsman's on friday and saturday and had a baby on Monday. {crazy} Justin always loved the outdoors, his dad and I would drag that little guy all over hunting and fishing. I remember when he wanted to start dipping, need i say more lol. He was the same everytime u saw him, a happy guy, full of life. Father thank you for the time i was blessed to have with him. I think about u justin quiet often, really miss ya. Enjoy the place that god has prepared for us. God must have needed a good man up there and buddy he got one. See you in heaven little man.

OMG he LOVED that dog. His name was Zeek. I can remember mom coming in from work one day and Justin and Zeek were both layed up asleep on the couch, and she started to start gripping because he had that dog in her house and on her furniture but couldnt cause she got tickled. She went and grabbed the camera and took a pic. They were both snoring and Zeek was laying on his back with all four feet in the air... lol
