even though i'm only 15, i fell in love with the king of pop at the age of [either] 5 and/or 6 years of age! me and my cousin would dance our butts off to butterflies, pyt, dont stop til you get enough, thirller, and billy jean! even today we still do, so as we sit here now in different states we cry cause his music, micheal jackson's music brought us together to have a strong relationship that is stronger than a parent and child...but anyway its mot about me and my cousin its about micheal and how he inspired the music nation!

This is the saddest celebrity death ever, at least for me. I grew up listening to Michael Jackson and watching his videos. I've always been a huge MJ fan. It's hard to believe that such an amazing performer is gone. He was my favorite artist for the 80s and 90s. I loved his earlier stuff too, even though it was before my time. It's such a shame that he died so young. I saw him in 2001 at Madison Square Garden for his 30th anniversary concert, and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. From his music to his performances and videos, he was definetely one of the best artists of all time. His Thriller video revolutionized music videos forever. MJ will probably always be my favorite performer. He truly was the King of Pop. Rest in peace, Michael.
