In 2009 is het 50 jaar geleden dat deze 8 mannen omkwamen bij deze vliegtuigcrash in Goa. Vaders, echtgenoten, verloofde, broer, opa zij liggen hier in Goa begraven. Op 10 juni 2009 zullen wij dit feit op gepaste wijze herdenken bij "ons"monument in het stadspark te Roermond bij het N.I.Monument. Maar in Maart 2009 zullen een groep nabestaanden een bezoek brengen aan de graven in Vasco da Gama,Goa, India.
