Nancy was in many ways a second mother for me. She was always welcoming, hospitable and positive. Her marriage to Lou was a model of faithfulness and love. I never met anyone who was neater or more organised! Always private, she was also engaged in the lives of her family and friends. She maintained dignity and independence to the end. She will be much missed.
