Natalee Missing 49 Months May 30, 2005 - June 30, 2009 49 Months It has been 49 months since Natalee disappeared And after all this time, the situation is as we all feared She is still out there somewhere, waiting, all alone And it appears as if nothing is being done to bring her home. My heart to Natalee's family I just watched the final hours of her life and it sadden me and made me so angry. I knew her and her father and I pray to God whomever gets what they deserve she was a very sweet person and I know she is in Heaven. We love and miss you so much!!!!

i just turned 16 and i was looking around on the web and found this site bout nataee holloway. i never knew who she was until i watched her movie on lifetime. i tell you that movie made me think really, you got to be careful where you go, and who you meet and how you act. as i watched the movie i got sad like really bad b/c the mother was out to find her daughter that she loved. the guy who was all behind this will pay one day and he will have to live with what he did. only god knows what he did. one day he will pay big tme. i feel terrible about what happened and i hope and pray that it don't happen to me. b/c idk what i would do.

Today, May 30, 2009, makes 1,461 days - 48 months - 4 years - since Natalee disappeared in Aruba. Many of us have been here since the beginning and many have joined our family along the way in support of Natalee and her family. It is a true measure of the love for and dedication to Natalee and her family members that many of us remain after four long and heartbreaking years. It defines our commitment to stay until Natalee is found and brought home and nothing or no one will deter us in our goal. Those who try to disrupt or attempt to steer us away from this goal will not succeed because, united as one, we stand strong. Natalee has made the word 'life' something to cherish and never take for granted. She has shown us that all life is precious, all life has meaning, and all life demands dignity and respect. She has, through her family, shown us what unending, unconditional, true love means. She has shown us that you can reach for higher goals, that you can be better than you were before, and that you can make a difference. She has shown us that people, although diverse, can be brought together for a common cause. None of us here are looking for thanks, praise or self recognition. We are simply doing what God has taught us to do and that is to love one another and help one another in times of need. We all understand and embrace the value and importance of life and have given our time in an attempt to bring resolution to a family that has for all this time only wanted one thing - to have their precious and much loved daughter returned home. Natalee is not here right now, so we must be a voice for her. We need to work together to fight this fight for Natalee. I cannot explain enough how much I would love to hold Joran's head to a saw blade until he confesses or tells us where she is. reading all these stories about her...makes me nauseous and honestly, not a day goes by when I don't think of natalee. Random songs on the radio...bring thoughts of natalee to my mind. I obviously, like many others, did not know her, but I have been impacted so much by her story. Watching the pictures scroll by on the photo slide show on this page, my eyes are tearing up and I can't help but wonder...HOW could you do something to this girl?! She is absolutely beautiful...and she has the appearance of an Angel. I search the web frequently to keep myself up to date on her story. I wish that it was within my power to go to Aruba and fight for her. I am pretty sure that I would beat Hans Moss to within an inch of his life to know what he KNOWS that he will not tell. May 30, 2005 - April 30, 2009 A very special young woman was brought to us and with her she carried a message. That message was contained within a poem written by her in her Journal that her Mother, Beth, shared with us. That message was, "'In life, love must be the base. We must cherish every face." What that means to me is that the real message she was proclaiming is that all life is precious and has meaning - all life is valued and each person has a meaning and worth. We must always look within a person to discover them, not try to base our determination on physical attributes. And, we must base our life on love, for love, not hate, conquers all. I wish that message could be read or heard by everyone, everywhere and understood, for this world would be such a better place. She created a legacy that will live on with us - with you and me - forever, a legacy that inspires faith, great hope and love. Only those who have lost a child/young person could truly know and understand what Dave, Robin, and Beth and the rest of Natalee's family members feel or what they have been and continue to go through each day. It would be very painful to learn the truth - the real truth - as to what happened, but it would be even more painful and unbearable to not be able to find your child and bring them home. You must move on with life, as there are others who depend upon you, but that does not mean you will quit or give up because you truly understand the legacy left to you. Natalee Missing 46 Months May 30, 2005 - Mar 30, 2009 I do not believe that there are any words one can say that could truly express the feelings and emotions that this day brings. 46 months ago today, our hearts were captured by one young woman who did not show up for her flight home from Aruba with her friends and classmates. We did not know then why and to this day we still do not know what happened to her or where she may be now. It is difficult to put into words just how this young woman, Natalee, has affected so many. She is truly a special young woman who has captured the hearts of people worldwide. Very few of us, if any, knew her prior to May 30, 2005, but in spite of that she has brought us together - people of all faiths, beliefs, cultures, and backgrounds from around the world. She has opened the eyes of many to things they did not know about before and caused many to take a look at their own situations and make changes, not only in how they think, but how they act, speak and relate to others. Natalee has made the word 'life' something to cherish and never take for granted. She has shown us that all life is precious, all life has meaning, and all life demands dignity and respect. She has, through her families, shown us what unending, unconditional, true love means. She has shown us that you can reach for higher goals, that you can be better than you were before, and that you can make a difference. She has shown us that people, although diverse, can be brought together for a common cause. If I could take the liberty here of quoting Patrick Hurley: "How do you measure a father’s love for his child? You don’t. It is infinite and eternal. It lasts forever. From the moment you hold your baby in your arms you are hooked beyond emotional reason. The only thing that will stop Dave Holloway from searching for his lovely Natalee is for him to stop breathing. Until that final moment comes, he will not give up. Never. This is not an obsession, this is what parental commitment should be." Those very same words can be said about Beth, a woman of great strength, courage and determination. The love that Dave, Beth and all the family have for Natalee is not only unconditional it is unending. None of them will ever give up until they know the truth and can somehow find Natalee and bring her home. This is a true testament of love - an eternal flame of love that will never go out. We can not lose hope - we can not lose faith - we can not cease praying - we can not give up on Natalee or her families - no matter how long it takes. We must never let Natalee's life on this earth go unremembered. We must never forget Natalee. We must continue to be a voice to defend her honor, her integrity and her good name against all that say negative or untruthful things about her All life is precious and all life has meaning and worth. We must thank God for allowing her to be here. She is someone to be extremely proud of and has left her mark on this world. 45 months have now passed since Natalee went missing in Aruba. 45 months have passed and we still do not know with any certainty just what happened to Natalee or where she may be right now. Throughout these many months we have been challenged many times and each time we have risen to the challenge because we have joined hands with each other and formed a union of one. This union allows us to carry those who experience moments of despair, losses and other problems because we draw our strength from those who are strong and give to those who are in need. There are no words adequate to describe what effect this length of time has had on so many and on Natalee's family and friends, But, throughout all these many months, Natalee's parents continue to fight for Natalee - to be her voice on her behalf. They have not given up and never will because of their unending, unconditional love for Natalee. They have also said that they will not give up on Natalee because Natalee would not give up on them. Therefore, we must continue along with them and be the Guardians of Natalee's Hope. 29 months ago I wrote this poem. Nothing has changed since then, except that determination and hope have continued to increase and will only get stronger should time continue on. To this day, not one real truth has been spoken or one real piece of evidence has been found that would tell what happened to Natalee or where she may be - whether she may still be alive somewhere or whether she is no longer on this earth. But, someone does know what happened to her and where she is and it is unconscionable that they have kept this to themselves for all this time knowing full well just how this has affected so many others. Every parent dreams of watching their beloved child grow up. Natalee grew in so many ways, but one thing remained constant through the years, and that is how proud her family has always been of her. Natalee is strong of spirit and will, determined and driven, born with a heart of gold, and she never gave them pause to doubt that she would do wonderful things with her life. There has never been and will never be another Natalee. She is special and unique, and God does not duplicate perfection. There is no power that would be able to make Natalee's families' hurting hearts ever give up on her. Their love for her is deeper than words can say. For 44 months now (1,342 days), we have seen the families of Natalee do everything possible to find their beloved daughter and they have done it with such dignity and grace. They have shown us what complete, unending and unconditional love really is by their words and actions. We must always remember that a broken life is something we may not be able to fix, but we must do anything and everything we can to try and help. We must be there for them, putting their hearts in our hands and letting them know, with love and compassion, that we will be there for them at all times. It is inconceivable to think that it has now been 43 months - 1,311 days - since Natalee went missing and we do not know where she may be. Natalee, no one knows just where you are Whether you might be near or far But one thing is so very true And that is so many love and miss you The time just slowly keeps going by We see those who love you hurt and cry And each and every day they pray And hope that it just might be the day We have watched seasons come and seasons go And yet we still do not know What really happened on that fateful day Back in 2005 in the month of May The road we have traveled together has been long And many times the way we were led was wrong But we remain steadfast in our way And nothing said or done will make us sway Natalee, you are why we have come here It is you that we hold so very dear We have hope, we have faith and we pray That you will be returned home one day Our mission here has no bound Because as yet you have not been found We will continue until we find you, Natalee And return you to your loving family lls/8-30-2006 We all know from what we have read and seen that the fate of Natalee is still undetermined. There is no real evidence either way to state with any solid proof that Natalee is alive or not - we just do not know. We have again come to the end of another month and now at the end of 42 months we still do not know where Natalee may be so that she may be found and brought home. We have for all this time heard lie after lie about what happened to Natalee and read so many things that have been written containing untruths and insults, not only to her, but to her family as well. It is almost as if a game is being played by some with the fate of this lovely young woman - a game about how one can come up with new ways to inflict additional heartbreak, suffering, and pain to ones that have already suffered an intolerable injustice. The latest situation of, 'Here is what I did', followed almost immediately by, "Guess what? I lied again." just can not continue; it must be somehow stopped. The most distressing part of all of this is that it appears that nothing can be done to those who keep this effort ongoing (or more likely it is that no one wants to do or cares about doing anything). We have all seen atrocities before, but I myself have never in my lifetime seen an atrocity as terrible as this. What is most disturbing is that the negativity against Natalee and her families started almost immediately after she disappeared. The question here is, "Why?" Look into the eyes of Natalee's family members. What you will see is a terrible hurt, a longing for this unknowing to end. For 42 months, they have been searching for answers and the truth. And while this has been a terrible struggle to obtain any answers whatsoever, they have also had to cope with all the hate and abuse being thrown at them. We see this coming from people professing to be Christians and from those professing to be from other beliefs. It matters not what or who you believe in, but I can not imagine that any religion or belief condones the riducule or abuse of one in need. It is because of all this that we can not give up or back away; we can not lose hope or faith. Natalee needs us and so do her families. Natalee is not here right now, so we must be a voice for her. We must support her families, each and every one of them, for it is they who have lost the one that they love so very much. We made a commitment to Natalee and her families when we came here and joined together, united as one in love and compassion for ones that we care so much about. Oct 30, 2008 marks 41 months (1,250 days) that Natalee has now been missing and we still do not know where Natalee may be. Many times we thought the answers would be brought forth and we were so disappointed when nothing came to fruition. We know that there are truths to be revealed because someone knows the truth and we know that Natalee is out there somewhere waiting to be found and returned home. We must continue to make those who may not be aware, that Natalee is still missing - we must keep her name out there for all to remember - we must keep her image in the minds of all. We can never let her be forgotten. This is not over and will never be until Natalee is found and returned home with the dignity and grace that she and her families so deserve.

Although we have only 'known' Natalee for almost 41 months, it has been a time during which she has made such an impact on our lives. For many of us, she has changed the way we think, the way we do things, and the way we feel about things, the way we cherish more those that we love. She has also showed us what is important in life and what is not. She has brought people of all cultures and backgrounds together for a common purpose and many have developed lasting friendships which would never have been had it not been for her. Through Natalee we have seen how families unite together with such love, devotion and determination in order to find the one they love so much. Through her families, we have seen why she is who and what she is. She has entered the hearts of so many and will remain in their hearts forever. She will never be forgotten. Her hard work, dreams, aspirations, and her compassion for life is an inspiration to all of us. She is a beautiful person, not just on the outside but on the inside as well.
