Dad we always be loved by friends and family. No son could ask for a better father and if i was half the man he was i would be a saint. His kindness and love for his family had no prejudices and his acceptance for us showed what a great man he was. Neil and Carmel were special parents and were tested in life many times by their children and they always responded with understanding and love. Neil's first love was his family and second was medicine. His bad jokes at the dinner table were so bad but he still told them knowing that's what made them funny. He was so humble in his achievements and possessed a brilliant mind. A true academic and sportsman in his younger years. He was dealt some hard blows in life, loosing Carmel and suffering ill health in his retirement but had his faith in God The world is a better place because of Mum and Dad and they will always be remembered by any one who had the pleasure of been involved with them.
