The Big Bobber has left the studio He'll be long remembered as a radio colleague and radio mentor to our up and coming presenters. He has left a void that'll be hard to replace. Bob,you're now in the celestial radio company of the best: Howard Craven, Len London, Ward Austin, John Harper, Jack Davey and Bob Dye, plus countless mathematicians. Vale, Codger Bob.
To my dear sister Kay and family We will miss our dear brother in law & uncle Bob so very much. Our memories of your visit to Canada in 2005 and our Skype calls kept us close. I recall many wonderful late nights at MANSW conferences around NSW when Bob, Bruce, Debbie and frequently many others would gather at the bar or in someone's room to catch up, reminisce, share anecdotes, and generally have a wonderful time. His knowledge of mathematics, teaching, music and sport were inspiring. I will miss him very much.
