I also am glad we got to talk to Bill at the Bursill/King reunion! He was talking about his sailing charters in Lucinda to my husband and I, as my husband is a sailor too. It was so good having he and my mum (Betty King, wife of Don King) as the last of their generation there on a day to celebrate and remember both families. It was a wonderful day where we learnt a little about our common ancestors. Bill was in the thick of it and shared with us some of his experiences and insight! It was a wonderful day I'll treasure forever!
I'm so sorry that we didn't have more time with such an extordinary man as Bill!
He will be sadly missed by both his immediate, extended families and friends, there doesn't seem to be men quite like him around anymore.

Standing on top of the Thredbo lodge, early Spring early seventies, freezing cold, clearing roofs and drains and cursing Bill because he was paying me to enjoy this unforgettable experience.
What a character he was!

An amazing man - and still doing construction and business up to the age of 95.
Sadly missed and he's achieved alot in his life. I wish I got to spend more time with him.

I'm glad we had the Bursill/King reunion last year to give us a chance to see Bill again. He outlasted siblings and cousins and had a good long life. But he will be missed.
Our thoughts are with his family.
