Well it's nearly 12 months since we said see you later to Tim and it seems like only yesterday. As a tutor, Tim was outstanding. His relaxing style made us, as parents, confident that he would bring out the best in our daughter. He quickly put her at ease and we made a new friend in the process. Tim had some of the worst jokes I have ever heard but you had to listen to them all because there would always be a good one hidden away among the bad ones. Tim taught my sister in his first year out teaching at Brigidine Maroubra and she still had photo's of long haired Tim at Maroubra beach. He is still sorely missed and I am sure he is hitting golf balls long and straight, Bede Moy

My most amusing memory of Tim Lynch "The Boy of 100 Farts" was in December 1969 at a Nairana Boys Club Richmond one week camp . I was in the same cabin namely cabin number one. Each day Tim Lynch got some other boys and himself to count up their farts both loud smelly farts and silencer farts. Tim Lynch did 100 farts one day and was declared the champion. Thats why I remember Tim Lynch as " The Boy of 100 Farts" In later years, Tim Lynch became a champion maths teacher who was much better than average. Tim Lynch went from "The Boy of 100 Farts" to a rea; Smart Fart.

I went to school with Tim and we played football together many years ago. He was a very popular guy then but I lost contact over the years. He always knew where there was a party on and he was called Biggus Mouthas affectionatley for this knowledge. A good guy gone too soon. Only 54 years of age. Farewell.

Mr Lynch taught us from 1977 to 1980 at Brigidine Maroubra. All of us attended a mini-reunion on Saturday at South Juniors. We heard of his passing yesterday. We all thought very highly of him and he will be a big loss to the current and future students of Brigidine Randwick. Jacqueline Layton (Law), Belinda Hogan, Sharon Foster (Hastie), Tracey Licciardo, Susan Grosvenor, Heidi O'Nion, Vicki Small, Kim Foster (McNamara), Rose Columbo, Diane Kirby (Baker) and Denise Kirkcaldy.
