Ahh, Tom. I can barely believe it. Your gold flute mouthpiece; your musicality; you taught me respect and love for the FMECA; your strong work ethic. I was so looking forward to catching up after so long out of touch, since my time on the 4000 class and the Millennium Train. So sorry to hear of your tragic passing; your family's loss.
Dearest Tomi, I am so sad at being the one who is left behind - I was so sure it would be me to go first. I know we moved on and had our own lives, but those four years we spent together in our youth were the best years of my life. I still dream about you and I think of you all the time. I have all your letters and photos (Bella wants to read them) - I'll have them until the day I die. Rest in peace beautiful boy - I hope we meet again one day. Jen xo
We just discovered this page ... and we recently discovered the most beautiful handyman who was always hanging around. Tom, you were far too young to leave us so soon, but you were your happiest when on your bike. You frequented our joint in Brisbane St, always on the lookout for faults, if not, freshly made banana bread, which was your fav. We speak of you often and shall always remember you in your leathers. Love Mel and co

I still always smile whenever I think of you! There is not one of us whose lives you have not touched in some way. Your friendly happy face has left a warm memory in our hearts, and your sudden departure a huge loss. We all miss you! Silva xxx
I just learnt of your passing, and I don't know what happened. However, I do know that you are safe with the Good Lord. I remember you. Your friendship, your humour, your music. You'll be in my prayers. Tomi, farewell my good friend! Till we meet again, when my time comes..............

The burgandy shirt, an oldie but a goodie. When I think of Tom Tum, I keep seeing him in his burgandy shirt with his hands in his pockets rocking backwards and forwards with a wide grin on his face. Love you! Bucko xxx
Tom, You was always kind, helpful and always had ways to cut cost. You always knew the quickest route to get to the end. I wil miss your sence of humour, your assistance and know how. A collegue to the end always dependable.

My thoughts and prayers are withTomi's loved ones today. A life well lived, a gifted man, a sad loss. Sleep well Tomi.
I worked with Tom for a few years and always relied on his knowledge. He had a good sense of humour which made working with him easy, even when he kept nagging me to do things. I will miss you Tom.
Although I havent seen Tomi for a long time, I wish to send my condolences to the family. I remember all the fun times we had in high school, being introduced to Tomi through Mark, attending the stannies Grad with Tomi. I was only reading the card he gave me thanking me for being his grad partner and wishing m e good luck in the HSC, about 2 weeks ago, thinking then, I would like to catch up with everyone. I remember his beautiful flute playing and how excited he was when he got his AmusA. Tomi was a wonderful man and a great friend. Be with God now Tomi, play your flute with his Angels, RIP.
