He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father. He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me." God reaches out in love to you and wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name." You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior. 4. If you want to accept Christ as Savior and turn from your sins, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this: "Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always." All we ask is that you take good care of him because now he is in your hands. and to help those of us still here to understand. We know that he is going to be with us every step of the way And at times things may get tough and we may not know what to say, That's when we will think of you and what you might say. Deacon Dotson, we know that you would want us to continue on and be strong Trust me, we will try our best even though it all seems completely wrong. As we prepare to say our final Good-bye the tears begin to flow, We now know that the healing process will be slow. By the grace of God we know that we can work through this if we all stick together, For we all know that the pain we feel is not forever. Yes, we have our good days and bad days, When people ask how we are we doing we don't know what to say. Yes the tears are still there, Only because we lost someone who really cared. TO MY BEST FRIEND TOSE Sisters by chance, friends by choice", is a saying I admire. My sister is not only my friend, but my best friend. My sister is like my own personal journal, she knows everything there is to know about me, from the size of my jeans to my deepest darkest secret. When it seems that everyone don't care, she cares and takes the time to listen to what I have to say, even my dumb little jokes. As sister, we sometimes fight. One example is when I was 11 years old and Kristen, my sister was 14 years old. It was the day before my ice hockey tournament and we managed to find something to argue over, as a result we ended getting into a fight and she buckled my fingers back, spraining them. The next day I couldn't play in the tournament. Even though this story didn't have a happy ending it is something that we now look back at and laugh about. One of my most cherished moments I spend with my sister is Christmas time. Every Christmas Eve we sleep together and stay up all night talking. This is something I will never forget. Loving, trustworthy, and caring are all qualities my sister has. Thorough both good times and bad, she tells me she loves me and shows her affection all of the time. Another thing I enjoy doing with my sister is shopping. She'll give her honest opinion on the things I try on and always pick out the cool things I can never find. The bond we share is something I will never share with anyone else in my entire life. She's my sister, my hair stylist, my role-model and most of all, my best friend. A little poem that describes the relationship between my sister and I is, "There's a bond between sister that's one of a kind, it's a blend of devotion and friendship combined." Out of all the things life has brought and will bring to me, nothing will compare to the relationship I share with my sister!
