My Grandma was a truly beautiful person. She was one of of the most caring people I have ever met and I am sure it will be hard to find somone who compares. She lived very close to me for most of my life and we spent every Holiday together and I tresured every one of them. She was always the last one to sit down at the table, making sure everyone had everything they needed first. I remember the stand by appetizer that never failed to appear were sweet gerkins and peppercorn ranch dressing. With her being close to us growing up she became my after school care and my friend. She was always ready with an afternoon snack of Apple Jacks. One of the many games we played together was waitress, Grandma would stand in the kitchen and take our orders while we waited at the bar stools. Obviously she was always doing things to make others happy. One exapmle that comes to mind is when Grandpa came home for lunch and asked Granma to make him a sandwhich. I said Grandpa why don't you make your own sandwhich; this is one of the many stories Grandma loved to tell. She was a story teller by nature and always the life of the party. On many occasions she was referred to as the energizer bunny because she just always kept going. There are a few other things you should know about my Grandma; she was a square dancer and a semetress and made all of her own outfits. She also made almost every one of my first day of school and Holiday dresses. She was also a huge football fan and loved the Broncos; even so much that she has a Broncos ornament on her Christmas tree. I truly loved my Grandma and she will be greatly missed. She made an impact on this world as well as on me and will live on in our hearts forever. I love you Grandma! You are an inspiration, Love always your loving Granddaughter, Allison.
