Lucky was dear to me, even though I did not know him personally. Through his music I felt connected to him because of the kindness and love I felt emanating from every beat, every word. The world now has a gap in it that will widen through the passing of time. Lucky will be missed more than words can express. May his killers never, I repeat, never enjoy another minute on this earth.

First time I heard Lucky Dube, I was hooked. He spoke and sang from the heart and cared about people. I feel sad when I listen to him his songs now, but also blessed to have been touched by his music and spirit.
