I remember in college name Tomas who told me if you love Peter Tosh you would love Lucy Dube that was in 1992 and I loved his music ever since. I love seeing him live most recently in Maryland where i met him for the third time. His song "take it to Jah" kept me sane when my best friend was shot and killed in 1998 and i always look forward to his new songs and his concert because he was so energetic. I will miss Lucy Dube a lot and I echo the sentiment, "what is wrong with this world"

If you met Lurky some months ago when he was in Ghana you would know how I feel right now, what a gentleman and lovely he was. am not only angry with the "Soul Takers" am also angry with South Africa. Weetical Wagus from University ofCape Coast, Ghana

South Africans, if you people hated Lucky Dube this much, why did you not send him on exile to Nigeria where he was/is "worshipped" by his fans! You people have heated up our system because people are very angry. Never in history will Africa produce a master healer like him again! You have personnally wounded my soul because when I sleep, I hear Lucky'voice, when I work in the office, I work with Lucky talking to me and when I am sad, Lucky calms me down with his consolation messages. Oh! My God, What a Crazy World! Lucky's every sin will be forgiven and will surely rest at the bossom of God Almighty because he was a peace maker and peace makers will inherit God's kingdom. But his killers, misreable living will be their lot in Jesus' name because they have killed "a son of man" in Africa. Rest in peace brother! We love you very, very much! Rastafari lives!

I grew up loving and hoping that one day i get to visit south africa, but ever since Lucky Dube was killed,i do not wish to set a foot in that country ever.Whoever killed him, they do not know what they did to africa and the world at large. As he sung in one of his songs that we are living in a world with pyschos its true. They do not know the value of life. You detroyed us.But i will never forget him.God bless.

There are no words to describe how i feel about the death of lucky dube,no one can even try to understand the pain i am going through! But south africa is such a terrible country and the leaders there are worse that the white leaders who lead the country before.I thought i will never say this but right now i feel the power should go back to the white.not that they fought crime but they tried more than the Mbeki's of today. No wonder wonder lucky dube was always singing about crime and corruption!he saw it every day.miss you lots Lucky!

The death of Lucky Dube is to me, like one of those bad dreams your will have ; when you wake up and realise it's a dream, you will kneel down pray and beg God never to allow such to be a reality. And you finally thank God , for it is only a bad dream. I have tried everything to see if Luck Dube's death can turn into a bad dream, but when I kneel down and pray to God to please help make it one of those bad dreams of mine, but when I wake up and read the news the next minute, the message remains the same......he is dead. Those who killed Lucky Dube, did not only kill him , but they killed the joy and happiness of millions of people all over the world. I will support a reward fund that will be paid to anyone who may give information that will lead to the apprehention of those responsible for the death of Lucky Dube. It is very disgracefull that Lucky Dube helped in his own way to liberate South Africa only to be killed by the same class of people he delivered. The South African President (T. Mbeki ) should do whatever it takes to fish these low life(s) out wherever they maybe and punish them accordingly. If we knew that the liberation of South Africa would have led to the death of Lucky Dube, I just don't know.......... Please do something about it.

Lucky Dube, I still can't believe that your own africans can shoot you dead. I thought it was a dream but it has turned to be a reality. Lucky, we can never forget you on this world. My only prayer is that my the Almighty God aprehend your killers and bless your family especially your children who witnessed your death. May God take good care of them to become more than you on this world. You will forever be remebered because your music brings joy and peace to all on this world. Rest in perfect Peace. Amen

I was first turned on to Lucky's music by a stoner friend of mine. Two months later I was turned onto his music again on the Isle of St Johns. From that day forward I was a huge fan. We're going back 15 years now and his music will live on. RIP Lucky, you were a great artist and an even better man. God took you because he wanted you sitting by his side. Your music and message will live on.

It isn't really understandable, why do people still killing each other? L. Dube says: the cats and dogs has forgiven each other what is wrong with us? I also understand that the almighty God Jah in his holly book wrote, all that walks with me will be hunt and some bring to death. One of L.Dube Music says" If you stand in the true you will always stand alone", 'coz there's no truth in the world... you r gone but we do keep your says like this one, "where ever you are teach the world right"... we gonna follow your thought... those who did it to you they forgot that soon or later they'll meet you there and share thesame darkness... I miss ya i miss ya i miss ya, deixastes um vazio em mi, amigo L.Dube Dedicatoria a L. DUBE A minha espranca pasta na costela dos tumulos de homens matumborizados pela forca da ganacia
